At home with the Chicken Pox

Comments

I vaccinated both my kiddos for chicken pox, and they both ended up getting it. Cole was in 1st grade & Taylor kindergarten. The good thing was that because they were vaccinated they both had mild cases. I got them when I was in my 20's and had to go to the hospital! Hope they feel better soon! :-)
Thanks. I am pretty sure it is going to be mild for them.
I didn't realize you could get it if you'd had the vaccination. YIKES! I agree about staying home when you're contagious. When I was newly pregnant with my dd, my MIL and I were doing some after Christmas shopping at the mall. I heard some Mom yell at her kid who was hiding in a rack of clothes, "Get out of there! You know you can't be touching everything while you have chicken pox!!!" I was pretty upset about it and wondered why she didn't just stay at home with him! UGH... Needless to say, we boogied out of there quickly.

Hope your sweeties are feeling better soon. HUGS!
That is horrible. They really aren't feeling that bad. Just slightly itchy. I had to run an errand today, but I made them stay in the car. It is dangerous to get chicken pox when you are pregnant. I am glad you didn't. Glad to hear from you!

A pox on your house! A pox on your house!!!

Yes, people taking their sick kids out in public is as annoying as the stupid co-workers who come to work sick, hacking and coughing and spreading their germs all over the place. Arrrggghhh!!! Hope the girls feel better soon and you don't go tooooo bonkers in the next 5 - 7 days!
